How do we begin?Drop me an email, and we'll have a chat. You can tell me what support you want for your child, and we can take it from there. It is helpful to see some examples of your child's school-work at the first lesson. I offer a free set-up meeting, before the first lesson - so I can demonstrate how shared screens work etc. It gives us a chance to meet each other.

Which is better - online or face-to-face?Online means there is no travel time, and of course it doesn't matter where you are - in the UK, or abroad. Face to face is better for some kids who need a more 'school-like' atmosphere. Some prefer a mix - perhaps one lesson in 4 delivered face to face, and the rest online. I can be flexible to make it work best for you and your child.

What technology do I need for online lessons?Online lessons can be delivered by Zoom. You will need one of these on a suitable laptop or tablet. A mobile phone is probably too small. It can be helpful if we can communicate via WhatsApp, too.

Is there anything I need to prepare?I offer a free set-up meeting, before the first lesson - so I can demonstrate how shared screens work etc. It gives us a chance to say 'hello' too!

How does a group lesson work?Group lessons are limited to 3 children of the same academic year, or 2 children from different academic years. All children can work on problems, and I can offer support to each child as they need. Unfortunately I cannot offer group lessons for music.
